This position in Colt’s office in Japan is part of IT’s WPT team responsible for the support of all WPT Delivery & Support and basic IT infrastructure support such as Windows, Wi-Fi, MS 365 Outlook, Network LAN, Cabling, racking/stacking devices, etc. This role will provide hands-on 1st line operational support for internal customers. Technical Implementation & support for all/assigned Colt Laptop & Desktop PC, all other Desktop related operational tasks in office.
Full ownership of problem and incident management, ITSRs, ITSM ticket resolution of tasks in Work Place Technology (WPT) queues and Colt’s Audio Phones & Video-Conferencing set up of Polycom equipment for all Colt users in Japan.
Ownership for delivery & support of all requirements and incidents relating PC, Laptop connectivity, Office LAN, Cisco Meraki Wireless Wi-Fi Access Points, Printer connectivity/paper. ink cartridge, Laptop/Desktop Windows Operating System and other installed Colt Application Support, MS Outlook 365 Online and Client software support, Colt Mobile Phone support with installation of MS Intune and configuration of Skype and other mobile apps of Colt IT for all of Colt’s Internal customers in Japan using Service Now, Siebel, Remedy, Request Centre or other equivalent tools provided by Colt IT.
Ensures to manage and own inventory and stock of all Colt IT WPT devices including new and old/used or spare laptops, desktops, docking stations, monitors, printers, cables, adaptors, batteries, etc., for Colt IT Japan entirely.
Schedule and supervise all maintenance and installation work, including IT.
Develop and maintain procedures and working practices for the efficient and effective running of all tasks associated with operating and controlling installed hardware and software.
